The terminals KMED family are composed of two polymeric components, called the lid and base. The base has a housing for accommodating a spring offset and a tinned copper bus with two sharp teeth, which is supported on the first, thereby ensuring continuity in the electrical contact normal force after product application. It also has external projections that allow the locking of the cover when this is pressed against the base via a water pump pliers or another tool equivalent and compressing the end driver class 4, 5 or 6 with teeth against the bus. The bus has a length that allows connection of the power meters KMED.

The family KMED applies conductors classes 4 and 5 in the range 6-35 mm².
