32nd FIEE

KRJ participated in the 32nd edition of FIEE – International Fair of the Electrical, Electronic, Energy, Automation and Connectivity Industry, which will be held from September 9th to 12th at São Paulo Expo. At the event, the company showcased its entire portfolio of solutions for safe and durable connections with practical demonstrations of its solutions. KRJ offered visitors an immersive experience in industrial electrical systems through its technologies, presenting its electrical connectors, tools, and solutions that meet the specific demands of the sector.

Among the highlights were the KSE K4, a robust and reliable solar connection with an international standard, ideal for integrating photovoltaic panels with inverters, with a design for outdoor environments, secure locking, and international certifications. Another technology presented was KARP, developed in partnership with ENEL-SP, the University of São Paulo, and approved through R&D by ANEEL. The connector, suitable for protected medium-voltage overhead networks up to 34.5kV, allows live-line connections without the need to remove insulation, offering safety, practicality, and the option of remote application.

The KPB offers an intelligent connection solution, eliminating installation doubts with connections on either side and compensating for variations between conductors, guaranteeing performance and reliability. For public lighting, KRJ highlights the KATIL, which connects luminaires to the network safely and without damage, with installation in any position. Its asymmetrical derivation and reusable terminal allow luminaires to be switched on and off without interfering with the network.

Another differentiating factor is the KDP, an economical solution for high-density networks, capable of connecting up to four customers per phase in multiplexed systems. It also features a polymeric body and tinned copper busbar. The products on display also include the KATRO, a low-voltage piercing connector with up to four outputs per phase, ideal for residential, commercial, and public lighting applications, and the KLOK, a bimetallic terminal for aluminum and/or copper conductors, which ensures durability and preservation of cables with simple fastening.

“FIEE is a strategic showcase for the electro-electronic sector, and we are very proud to present solutions developed with national technology. Our focus is to meet the growing demand for safer and more efficient devices. Visitors will be able to see products that combine innovation, applicability, and a direct impact on the electrical transformation of Brazilian industry,” says Marcelo Mendes, general manager of KRJ.

Intersolar South America 2025

RJ participated in the Intersolar South America 2025 edition, the largest trade fair and congress in Latin America for the sector, held from August 26th to 28th at Expo Center Norte, São Paulo. At this edition, we exhibited our electrical connectors designed specifically to meet the needs of this segment.

We were located in the White Pavilion, at booth W2.90, where we were able to demonstrate, in addition to our diverse product portfolio, two electrical connectors for the sector. The KSE K4, compatible with the main connections on the market, guarantees not only a secure and stable serial connection between photovoltaic modules, but also high resistance to weathering, protection for outdoor environments (waterproof), UV rays, and overvoltages. And the KATRO, a piercing connector with four outputs for connecting residential or commercial consumers, which allows for stable connection and good heat dissipation in multiplexed cables used in low-voltage electrical systems and photovoltaic system branch connections.

For Marcelo Mendes, general manager of KRJ, the technologies presented during the fair were formulated to meet the growing demand of the sector for safer devices. “At Intersolar, we will present our connectors, developed and manufactured in Brazil, which meet the most rigorous standards of the solar sector, corresponding to its specificities with technologies that have high resistance, guaranteeing a stable connection between photovoltaic modules and easily meeting the needs of low-voltage electrical systems and their derivations,” he commented.

The largest platform for the new energy reality in Latin America, The smarter E South America, concluded this year’s edition on Thursday (28) with more than 55,000 visitors and an expansion of the areas dedicated to energy storage solutions, electrical infrastructure and electric mobility, consolidating its position as the main Latin American initiative for the sector. For three days, thousands of people attended the four parallel events Intersolar South America, ees South America, Power2Drive South America and Eletrotec+EM-Power South America, which brought together 600 exhibitors.

Distributech 2025

Showcasing the relevance and versatility of the Brazilian industry’s Generation, Transmission, and Distribution (GTD) segments, Brazil was present at Distributech 2025, held in Dallas, United States, from March 24th to 27th. Made possible through a partnership between the Brazilian Association of the Electrical and Electronic Industry (Abinee) and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil), the Brazilian pavilion featured more than 30 exhibiting companies, occupying over 400 m² of space, highlighting technological and sustainable solutions and reinforcing Brazil’s potential as a global leader in renewable energy and innovation.

With approximately 18,000 visitors from 87 countries and over 700 exhibitors, the Brazilian presence at the fair, according to Abinee’s International Relations Manager, Monique Morata, was strategic. “Distributech 2025 once again demonstrated the competitiveness of Brazilian industry and the ability of our companies to offer advanced technological solutions to the global market,” highlighted the executive.

A pioneer in participating in this project, KRJ drew attention to the importance of adapting the national industry to international certifications. “Distributech 2025 demonstrated that continuous preparation and adaptation to international standards are fundamental factors for global competitiveness. The strong Brazilian presence demonstrated the technical evolution of our industry and reinforced excellence in compliance with the required certifications,” emphasized Marcelo Mendes, general manager of KRJ.

49th CINASE

KRJ participated as a sponsor of the 49th National Electrical Sector Circuit – CINASE, the largest traveling event in the electrical sector in Brazil. The Congress and Exhibition took place in Porto Alegre on March 11th and 12th, bringing together electrification cooperatives, technicians, and electricians. On this occasion, KRJ professionals gave a technical presentation of the KARP, KPB, and KDP connectors to the participants.

This 49th edition of CINASE received approximately 35,000 attendees and over 200 speakers, and had the support of 70 exhibiting and sponsoring companies in a 10,000 m² usable area.

One of the controversial topics widely discussed at the event was the future of energy distribution and how to advance in increasing underground distribution networks or whether it will continue with the overhead configuration in Brazil. Currently, only 0.4% of the country’s energy distribution networks are underground. In other countries, such as Germany, however, 80% of distribution networks are buried. Among the benefits of burying power lines would be an average of only 12 minutes of power interruption per year. In Brazil, this number is around 600 minutes. The problem becomes even more concerning when considering the number of serious incidents caused by accidents on power lines.

Pink October at KRJ

Do you know what Pink October is?

Pink October is an annual campaign held worldwide in October, with the intention of alerting society about the early diagnosis of breast cancer. The mobilization also aims at the dissemination of preventive data and emphasizes the importance of looking carefully at health, in addition to fighting for rights such as medical care and emotional support, ensuring quality treatment.

During the month, several institutions address the issue to encourage women to take their exams and many even make them available. Initiatives like this are essential for prevention, since in the early stages, the disease is asymptomatic.

The first action in Brazil took place in 2002, at Ibirapuera Park, in São Paulo. With the pink lighting of the Obelisk Mausoleum to the Constitutionalist Soldier.

Since 2008, initiatives like this have become increasingly frequent. Several cancer-related entities began to illuminate buildings and monuments, conveying the message: prevention is necessary.
